Privacy policy

The contact form collects your name, your email address, your company name if you provide one, and your message. That information is used for one purpose: to answer you.

The message is delivered by email to François Auger, at hello@francoisauger.com, through the Resend sending service. It stays in that mailbox for the duration of the conversation and of any business relationship that follows, then it is deleted.

This information is never sold, rented or handed to a third party, and it is never used for advertising. No account is created and no profile is built from your answers.

The form is protected by Turnstile, Cloudflare's anti-robot service. It watches how the browser behaves to tell a person from an automated program. It is not used to identify you and it drops no advertising cookie.

The site uses Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without tracking cookies and without any identifier that would recognise you from one visit to the next. There is no advertising network on the site.

The host's access logs keep IP addresses for a short time, as any web server does, for security and troubleshooting.

François Auger develops applications that reach Google services through the Google APIs, including his personal assistant "Chuck". That assistant connects to the Gmail mailboxes of François Auger's own accounts and companies, with his authorisation, to read messages, sort them and prepare draft replies.

These applications only ever access the Google accounts of their owner, who grants the authorisation himself. They do not access any account belonging to a third party, and no data from a third-party account is collected.

Data obtained through the Google APIs is used only to provide or improve the user-facing features the user is asking for at that moment. It is not sold, not transferred to any third party, not used for advertising, and not used to train, fine-tune or improve generalised artificial intelligence models.

These applications' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Access tokens are stored on François Auger's own devices, in files readable by his account alone, and never inside a code repository. Authorisation can be revoked at any time from the "Third-party apps with account access" page of the Google account concerned, which removes access immediately.

Email exchanges are kept for the duration of the conversation and of the business relationship. The technical data an application needs to run stays on François Auger's devices and services, protected by passwords and encrypted at rest.

This site collects no payment information.
